1. Finance Assistant

Location: Jijiga, Somali

Job Summary:

Under the supervision of finance officer, the Assistant finance officer handles all cash payments, cash collections and cheque payments inside the office and/or camps as required. Assist the Finance officer in recording and preparation of reports.

Job Requirements:

Diploma in Accounting and minimum of 3 years relevant experience or B.A Degree in Accounting 1-year relevant experience.
Excellent Operating skill of Excel and Word is required.
Knowledge of Sun Accounting system and/or other accounting software is advantageous.
Ability to communicate well in English.
Positive and professional attitude, able to organize, maintain composure and prioritize work under pressure, able to coordinate multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.
Skills Required:
Basic computer knowledge in word, excel and internet operation.
NGO experience is a plus.
Ability to work under pressure
Knowledge of local language is advantageous.

2. Child Protection Assistant

Location: Errer, Somali

Job Summary:

The position holder is responsible for implementing community-based child protection program in Shedder camp. The position holder will lead all aspects of the prevention and response activities of the program that include working with the community, psychosocial support activities and case management.

Skill and educational background

BA/BSc degree in Social Work, sociology, Psychology, Public Health, or related field with zero year experience.
Diploma of social work, sociology, psychology with one year of experience.

Pereferred experience & skills:

verbal and written communication skills as well as, an overall ability to be clear and concise in all communications.
Strong organizational and time-management skills; proven ability to prioritize and deliver on time.
Strong analytic problem-solving skills
Ability to work both independently and in a dynamic, cross-functional global team structure.
proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to manage and work through change in a proactive and positive manner.

3. Health Officer

Location: Gambella

Job Summary:

With the direct supervision of the senior health officer, the health Officer is responsible for the day-to-day implementation of EUTF-funded project that focuses on strengthening of the health system. The health officer is responsible for accurate data collection, documentation, and reporting, liaising with local government and follow up on all health services including referral system. In general the position needs strong communication, coordination, and representation with host government Zonal, Woreda health structures and other implementing partners including consortium partners, OSSHD and ZOA.

Skill and educational background

BSC in public health/nursing with at least two years working experience.
One-year relevant experience plus post graduate degree.
Pereferred experience & skills:
Experience working in RMNCH preferable.
Good project management skills, ability to plan, organize and monitoring of implementation of emergency health services, RMNCH activities.
Experience in organizing and facilitating training.
NGO experience is a plus.
Working knowledge of computers (particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook)
Good communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work with a multi-sectoral team.
