Location: Adidaero/Adiyabo, Tigray
Skill and educational background
BA degree in Sociology, Social Work, Psychology Child Development and other related fields.
3-5 years of relevant work experience in INGO environment, involving in the procurement of both emergency and development programs out of which 1 year at supervisory level
excellent knowledge of Child Protection minimum standards and basic principles
Good knowledge of Child Protection case management
Excellent knowledge of basic child protection and youth principles and child & adult development and learning
Good knowledge of donor grants and contract regulations.

Ability to deliver quality programs in a desirable time and work under stressful conditions.
Proven ability to work in a team environment and independently.
Excellent written, verbal communication skills in English.

2. Education Officer

Degree level or equivalent in Education, Educational administration, Psychology, Pedagogy, and related field of education
3-5 years of relevant work experience in INGO environment, involving in the requirement of both emergency and development programs
Knowledges & technical skills:
Mobilizing and training of school teachers
Knowledge and experience of using and providing training on the INEE Minimum Standards for Education in Emergencies
Knowledge of assessment, monitoring and evaluation
Knowledge and experience of applying pedagogics of teaching
Knowledge of humanitarian activities at host and IDP centres
Awareness of child protection issues
Sensitivity to gender and child protection.
Good command of English language (both spoken & written)
Competent in use of word and excel
Commendable writing and communication skill
Languages Required:
Fluency in English language is essential
In addition to Amharic other local Knowledge of Local Languages is a desirable

3. Education in Emergency Coordinator
Location:Afar, Ethiopia
Skill and educational background
B.E./BA degree in Education, Community Development, Psychology, Social Sciences
5+ years of relevant experience out of which 3year successful assignments in a complex IDP emergency situation. May require formal professional qualification. Sound analytical and problem-solving capability; ability to influence others’ behaviour through effective relationship building; thorough current knowledge and understanding of relevant policies, frameworks, etc.
Experience with the following technical areas:
Mobilizing as well as facilitating training to teachers
Budget planning and management
Knowledge and practical experience in EiE as per the INEE Minimum Standards
Participation and/or coordination with the Education Cluster
Knowledge and experience in formal and non-formal education
Knowledges & technical skills:
Knowledge of humanitarian interventions/activities in IDP settings.
Awareness of safeguarding and child protection issues
Sensitivity to gender and inclusion in EiE contexts.
Ability to deliver quality programs in a short time and work under stressful conditions.
Proven ability to work in a team environment and independently.
Proposal and report writing skills.
