Awash Bank, Ethiopia’s pioneering private bank, was established on November 10, 1994 after the downfall of the socialist regime. The Bank was established by 486 founding shareholders with a paid-up capital of Birr 24.2 million and started banking operations on Feb. 13, 1995. Since embarking operation, the Bank has registered remarkable growth. Notwithstanding global and domestic challenges, Awash Bank has exhibited a superior operational and financial performances among private banks operating in Ethiopia. Skill and educational background

  • BA Degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Management & Economics plus minimum of 2 years of relevant Banking experience

2: BRANCH MANAGER – CLASS IV BRANCH

Skill and educational background

  •  BA Degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Banking & Finance and Economics plus minimum of 8 years of relevant banking experience of which 3 years in a supervisory position

 3: SENIOR – RISK OFFICER

Skill and educational background

  • BA Degree in Financial Economics, Risk management and Economics or BSc in Statistics with a minimum of 5 (Five) years relevant experience in financial risk modeling and management.

4: CUSTOMER SERVICE AND OPERATIONS MANAGER

Skill and educational background

  • BA Degree in Accounting, Management, Marketing & Economics plus a minimum of 5 years’ experience with at least 3 years at operational work

Duty Station: Shorkole Branch, Assosa Zone – Shorkole Town V. No HO/00042/2

5: SENIOR – IT PROJECT MANAGEMENT OFFICER

Skill and educational background

  • Bsc Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology plus a minimum of six (6) years of system development experience with a minimum of two (2) years of Database Design and Analysis is required. Professional course in Project Management (added advantage).

6: MANAGER – CATERING SERVICE DIVISION

Skill and educational background

  •  BA Degree in Hotel Management or related field plus a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience in catering services or similar duties at reputable organizations or at least 4 star hotels. Professional certificates in catering service areas (an added advantage).
