1:IT officer
Ethiopost is Ethiopia’s fundamental postal service provider, it was founded in 1886 by emperor Minilik, and now the company is providing a service with over 600 branches, over 1700 employees across the country. Ethiopost’s new imaginative and prescient is to be a global leader in postal offerings and a preferred partner in logistics, economic and government services.
Specific duties and responsibilities:
IT program and project management
Coordination of Network Management and implementation.
project management of local IT initiatives and projects
Implementation of monitoring and log management systems and optimization of system performance IT inventory tracking
Management of hardware assets and software licenses in regional offices
Identification of regional operations which should be digitalized, evaluation of different IT solutions and recommendation of the best fitting options
Coordination of hardware and software ordering, purchase and implementation.
Place of work: Addis Abeba, Hawassa, Mekelle, Desse, Dere Dawa,Jimma, central district Addis Abeba.

Skill and Educational Background
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT-related field with 2+ years of experience in managing IT projects and cross-functional teams
Strong communication and presentation skills
Experience with networking, system administration and server applications
Experience with architecting of new systems and automation of IT operation
Language: Amharic , English
