1: Midwife

Required No: Two (2)
Location: Addis Ababa
Duration: Full Time
Starting Date: Immediately after employment agreement concluded
Reporting to: N/A

Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive prenatal assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and necessary tests.
Offer guidance and support to expectant mothers and their families regarding pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care.
Monitor the progress of labor and provide care during childbirth.
Administer necessary medical interventions, including pain relief and emergency measures, when required.
Conduct postpartum examinations and offer advice on postnatal care for both mother and newborn.
Educate patients on family planning, reproductive health, and child-rearing.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for patients.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Stay updated on the latest research, developments, and best practices in midwifery.
Skill and educational background

  • BSc Degree in Midwife
    License as midwife is an advantage.
  • A minimum of Three to Five years of experience as Midwife
  • Ability to learn,understand,and apply new technologies, on a technical level

2: ICU Nurse

Required No: Two (2)
Location: Addis Ababa
Duration: Full Time
Starting Date: Immediately after employment agreement concluded
Reporting to: N/A
Key Responsibilities:

Critical Patient Care:
Monitor and assess patients’ vital signs and conditions continuously.
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed.
Implement and manage life-saving procedures in emergency situations.

Collaborative Teamwork:

Work closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and cohesive patient care.

Patient Advocacy:

Advocate for patients’ needs and preferences.
Provide emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times.

Documentation and Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Document all interventions, assessments, and changes in patient status.

Continuous Monitoring and Evaluation:

Monitor changes in patients’ conditions and adjust care plans accordingly.
Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make recommendations for improvement.

Quality Assurance:

Adhere to established protocols and standards to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education.

Skill and educational background

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a relevant field.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
    Five and above years of ICU nursing experience .
  • Specialized training or certification in critical care nursing preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
