1. Logistics,Admin. and Finance Officer

Job Summary:

The LAF Officer will be responsible for administering the Logistics, Finance and Human Resources of the field office. Provide adequate logistics functioning of the programme by taking into consideration the logistics manual application. Guarantying proper administration and finance support of the programme by applying all corresponding policies. Responsible to ensure consistent HR support and practical implementation of all tools.

Skill and educational background

BA/Diploma in Accounting or related field with 2/4 years’ experience in Finance in an NGO environment
Previous logistics, finance and HR/admin experienced with NGO’s or private field
Has initiative; creativity and independent to perform the job properly
Dynamic person
Good communication skill both verbal and written in English and Amharic
Honest and know how to manage problem resolutions
Management skills of staff (subordinates)
High level of accuracy, attention to details.

2. Health and Nutrition Officer

Location: Tigray Area – Field Offices, Tigray

Job Summary:

Under the direct supervision of the Senior Health & Nutrition Officer, the Health & Nutrition Officer is in charge of OTP/ SC, TSFP, and IYCF quality project activities on a weekly based and responsible for supporting all start-up nutrition activities in GOAL implementation assigned areas. S/he will be responsible for providing technical guidance to ensure that program implementation adheres to appropriate international technical standards and guidelines are technically sound. The Health & Nutrition Officer will be responsible for the management of acutely malnourished children and PLWs through treatment of severe and moderate acute malnutrition and prevention of further deterioration of the nutrition situation through the provision of therapeutic food, routine drugs, health and nutrition education and capacity building and technical support to the Woreda Health Office in the management of severe acute malnutrition.

The Health and Nutrition Officer will support Government Health staff to manage and supervise Community mobilization, detection, increasing health-seeking behavior and referral activities for PHC and emergency nutrition intervention at temporary IDP clinics/MHNT team sites and existing health facilities and supervise the management of health and nutrition drug, nutrition supplies (including essential drug kit, therapeutic and supplementary food (F75/F100, RUTF, RUSF, CSB ++), medicines and medical and anthropometric equipment).

Skill and educational background

Degree/MPH is preferred/ Diploma or equivalent in health science-related field of study, including Public Health, Nursing, or Midwifery and a minimum 2-4 years of professional experience in providing

primary health care at health facilities and implementing/monitoring emergency nutrition interventions of SC, OTP, and TSFP at the hospital, HC and HP level.

3. Sr. Health and Nutrition Officer

Location: Tigray Area – Field Offices, Tigray

Job Summary:

Under the direct supervision of the Project Manager, the Senior Health & Nutrition Officer is responsible for overseeing all start-up health and nutrition activities under the assigned location and responsible for the day-to-day management of the Primary Health and Nutrition Care project implemented in the operational Woredas of a given location. S/he will be responsible for providing managing Health and Nutrition staff and implementation. S/he will provide technical guidance to ensure that program implementation adheres to appropriate international technical standards and guidelines are technically sound. Provision of primary health care service and lead the management of the Mobile Health and Nutrition Team (MHNT) as a key component of the position holder.

Skill and educational background

BSc/HO in Public Health or post-graduate degree in public health, nutrition, and related field with a minimum of four (4) years’ work experience preferably in NGO experience in MHNT setups, CMAM/IYCF, and PHC/RMNCH/IMNCI.
Knowledge of the latest health-related guidelines and standards in emergency nutrition and health.
Experience in quality assurance in a clinical setting is desirable.
Extensive Knowledge and experience in the primary health care system.
Demonstrated ability for leadership and independent decision-making.
Ability to plan and organize work to meet individual, team, and program objectives.
Strong interpersonal skills & excellent team player, fosters working in teams & teamwork spirit.

Skill and educational background

BSC in Public Health and Nursing with a minimum of 4 (four) years relevant work experience
Have a demonstrated experience in emergency nutrition programme, notably CMAM and running other feeding programme
Strong knowledge of operational planning, budget planning and management, monitoring and evaluation and report writing,
Good knowledge, understanding and implementation of integrated Rural Development and emergency Programme activities,
Ability to plan and organize work to meet individual, team and programme objective,
Training and facilitation skill,
