1. Satellite Office Manager

Place of work: Shire, Ethiopia

Job Summary 

Under the direct supervision of Shire based Field Coordinator, the Satellite Office Manager is responsible for the overall coordination and management of all IRC programs and operations in Sheraro and Hitsats Satellite Offices. The Satellite Office Manager provides support to Satellite Office-based staff and responsible for overseeing staff management, communication & reporting management, grant management, safety, and security risk managements; and plays a representation role on different meetings and forums conducted in the areas. The Satellite Office Manager ensures the compliance of the field office operation and programs to be as per the IRC, donor and government procedures, rules, and regulations; assist the assessment of program quality and effectiveness and providing guidance and support to staff in Sheraro & Hitsats Satellite offices. He/she also work closely with key donors, key government parties, other INGO & local NGOs and establish good working relationships and partnership with all stakeholders.

Skill and educational background

MA/MSc/BA/BSc in Development Fields, Management, Sociology, and Public Administration or related field of studies.
3 years for MA/MSc holders and 4 years of experience for BA/BSc holders in Management in international NGOs preferably in satellite offices.
Demonstrated ability and experience in working in an emergency and post emergency/recovery program.
3+ years of experience in satellite office management or camp management.
Required Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as, an overall ability to be clear and concise in all communications.
Strong organizational and time-management skills; proven ability to prioritize and deliver on time.
Strong analytic problem-solving skills
Ability to work both independently and in a dynamic, cross-functional global team structure.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage and work through change in a proactive and positive manner.
Language Skills: Fluency (written and spoken) in English

2. Senior Training and Implementation Manager

Job Summary

The position holder will be responsible for developing/ revising training content and quality delivery for teachers’ trainings, ToTs, teachers, School leaders, PTSA and parents on LtP in consideration of crosscutting concepts including Behavioral change communication, Gender, inclusion, and wellbeing. The incumbent will also lead the school community activities to support the LtP activities concurrent to contextually relevant awareness raising mobilization initiatives and capacity building for SMC/CMC/PTAs to build a positive school environment by engaging school communities in LtP. In doing so, the Senior Training and Implementation Manager will ensure the type of engagement in design and implementation necessary to achieve joint priorities and objectives of providing play-based learning opportunities for all children.

Skill and educational background

MA/BA degree from an accredited university in education, curriculum development, or related field.

Pereferred experience & skills:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in content/curriculum development/adaptation, training delivery, project implementation and management
Proven track record of and knowledge of engaging with government stockholders, systems, and structure.

3. Training and Implementation Manager

Job Summary:

The incumbent will also lead the school community activities to support the LtP activities concurrent to contextually relevant awareness raising mobilization initiatives and capacity building for SMC/CMC/PTAs to build a positive school environment by engaging school communities in LtP. In doing so, the Training and Implementation Manager will ensure the type of engagement in design and implementation necessary to achieve joint priorities and objectives of providing play-based learning opportunities for target children.

The training and implementation manager will report to the Senior Training and Implementation Manager and will closely work with the senior project Manager and interface with PM country and field teams..

Skill and educational background

MA/BA degree from an accredited university in education, curriculum development, or related field.

Pereferred experience & skills:
4 years experience progressive experience in providing training to different groups in the education sector, project management and implementation
Proven track record of and knowledge of engaging with government stakeholders , systems, and structure.
Demonstrated success in developing educational/training content and ability to conduct presentations and facilitate workshops.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
Strong (creative/interactive) training skills.
Strong supervision, coaching and communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills; proven ability to prioritize and deliver on time
Strong planning ,analytic problem-solving skills
Ability to work both independently and in a dynamic, cross-functional global team structure.
Experience in teaching in ECD and/or Primary School is a plus
