1.EHOD – Shared Services (Internal/External)

Job Summary 

Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, the Executive Head of HR Shared Services will be responsible for efficient delivery of all HR Services, Records Management, Employee Relations, International Mobility and Immigration, HR Policies and procedures craft, implementation and team leadership and engagement.

The role holder will also drive automations and digitalization of HR processes for operational excellence and contribute to the operational programs using a sound understanding of HR principles and shared services ways of working to ensure that the team resolves HR issues for employees/business and contribute to the success of the wider function.

Key Responsibilities:

Optimize the capabilities of the HR Systems to improve service delivery and ensure effective use of data, trend analysis and reports to inform business decisions.
Evaluate records management needs, develop and implement records management standards, policies and procedures.
Set up and HR Service Center to support employee requests within set SLAs to enhance employee experience.
Collaborate with subject matter experts across the broader HR team to promote data governance and stewardship and to improve overall strategics and operational performance.
Lead and manage HR Process improvements through simplifications, automations and digitization of the HR Shared services environment to enhance employee journey experiences
Negotiate internally and influence decisions and contribute to the functional policies, processes and practices to ensure alignment to best practices.
Lead and manage employee and labor relations, grievance management and execution of disciplinary process within country legislations and in collaboration with Legal and Risk teams.
A technical expert with a sound understanding of HR processes and operations with ability to meet agreed KPIs and service levels.
Provide consultancy support on the interpretation of standardized HR processes and plans to employees, managers and the business.
Full people management responsibility for a team of HR shared services professionals and defines team-operating standards, sets direction and enable performance.
Proactively build knowledge and competence internally and externally to identify and deliver new services and processes.
Apply complex evaluative judgement to lead the team in solving complex or novel situations, delivering changes across HR shared services

Skill and educational background

Degree in Business Management or related field
Breadth of knowledge and business acumen typically obtained from a total of 8-10 years’ work experience in a large commercial organization of which at least 8 years should be within the HR function directly in, or closely supporting, executive and/or line operations
Minimum of 4 years in resolution of complex employee relation issues.
Demonstrate competence in more than 2 HR technical domains.
Proven track record of managing program / project management (including the coordination of multiple internal and external resources)
Experience of working with corporate client groups
