1. Recruitment Assistant

Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Job Summary:

The Recruitment Assistant will be responsible for supporting the staffing for open positions in the Ethiopia Country program that vary from short-term, emergency response, and full-time needs to meet demands of donors and programs in location that Ethiopia country program are working. This individual will be responsible for following the approval of personnel requisition and staffing, posting advertisements in the IRC system and s/he coordinates hiring activities, scheduling interviews, screening resumes, and maintaining candidate databases. They assist with onboarding and handling administrative tasks to ensure a smooth hiring process and short-listing candidates for open vacancies.

Skill and educational background

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources or related social science field.
  • Expereince: 1 year of experience with recruitment or experience of recruitment within an HR generalist role is advantageous.

Skills:

Experience with handling internal mobility is a plus.
Experience working for an INGO is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast paced/changing, deadline-oriented environment.
Proven sense of professional discretion, integrity, and ability to run situations diplomatically and to effective resolution.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.

2. Deputy Director Supply Chain

Location: Addis Ababa

Job Summary:

IRC Supply Chain entails all the systems and support functions vital to implement programs effectively, inclusive of procurement, logistics, inventory management, property, and asset management as well as vehicle and fleet management. The position is a key position to the success and delivery of quality programs. The position holder is accountable for the design, planning, execution and monitoring of supply chain activities at the country level. The Deputy Director Supply Chain is a member of the country program’s Senior Management Team.

Skill and educational background

  • 8-10 years related experience with postgraduate or with first degree, respectively in Business management/Management, Accounting, Purchasing and Supplies management or related fields of study.
    Advanced professional certification in supply chain management and/or emergency response management is strongly preferred.
    At least 6 years of senior-level management experience.
    Experience working in diversified team.
    Experience working with in an ERP environment.
    Experience with Data Analysis
    Demonstrated ability to develop and roll-out supply chain policy and SOPs.
    Clear training and mentoring ability.
    Experience working with a diverse portfolio of Donors and knowledge of specific donor guidelines

Competencies:

Have a high degree of flexibility and ability to work against hard deadlines.
Strong collaborator and influencer with effective interpersonal and analytical skills who can work seamlessly across countries, cultures, and organizational units.
Able to work effectively in a highly matrixed structure.
Strong financial management and budgeting skill
