1.Weighbridge operation Supervisor
Purpose of the Job:
To provide efficient and effective weighbridge operation for the facility by keeping track of goods received and dispached.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Respond to and follow up sales enquiries posted.
Monitor and report on dispatch and weighbridge activities and provide relevant management information.
Monitor Compliance with all legislation and company regulations.
Communicate weighbridge issues with all concerned levels of management.
Maintain punctuality at all time.
Manage weighbridges run smoothly, accurately and within the appropriate contractual and legal requirements.
Interacting with the Finance, Procurement, and Sales team for authorizing invoices and feeding into daily reporting.
Updating relevant monthly plans that are required to be updated every month.
Control direct traffic coming onto site and operate weighbridge, recording all vehicles entering/ leaving the site.
Comply with licensing guidelines and collate monthly data by product type and by customer as part of management information.
Ensure that established policies and procedures are followed.
Providing Duty of Care for the vehicles entering site.
Review, approve and submit reports to relevant organs.
Support the development of subordinates through periodic performance evaluations, coaching, mentoring, ongoing performance dialogue and feedback.
Manage disciplinary concerns of the unit’s staff.
Skill and educational background
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Transport Management, Logistics and Supplies Management and related fields with four (4) years of demonstrated experience.
