1. Trainee Electrical Engineer
Location: Addis Ababa

Job Responsibilities and Required Skills:
Understanding and implementing designs from technical drawings
Evaluating designs for new project and making recommendations on improvements
Ensure that installations and applications are in line with customer needs and safety standards
Using computer-aided design CAD, GIS, and ETAP engineering software to create project plans, diagrams and design.
Collaborate with engineers and technicians to design and apply new system processes
Coordinating with other engineers or contractors to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
Control of the electrical power distribution system and all related electrical permits and procedures
Ensuring that full information and adequate instruction is given to anyone carrying out any work on the facility’s electrical power distributions system
Interacting with contractors and customers using verbal and written communication
Making presentations to clients and coworkers
Creating documentation and records.
Skills and educational background
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineer – Power stream required
CGPA should be 3.5 and above - Graduated from Bahirdar, Addis Ababa, Jimma, Hawassa and Adama Universities
- Fresh graduate (2014-2015 EC) / (2022-2023 GC)(0 Year experience)
Other Key Skills Required:
- Excellent technical skills.
- The ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.

Job Summary:
Assist in developing designs, drawings and specifications
Doing feasibility assessments and site inspections
Determining whether a design solution is user-friendly, cost-effective and environmentally friendly
Preparing and implementing project plans
Researching and providing estimates for projects
Using a range of computer software for developing detailed designs
undertaking complex calculations
compiling job specs and supervising tendering procedures
Resolving design and development problems
Conducting rigorous usability tests and modifying the product based on the test results
Evaluating design solutions against industry standards
Documenting the design process and presenting reports to all relevant
Scheduling material and equipment purchases and deliveries
