1.Branch Manager I – for Tulu Bolo Branch

Job Summary

  • The Branch Manager will plan, organize, lead, and control the banking activities of a branch office. S/he will ensure that operating procedures, rules, and code of practices of the Bank and regulators directives and country law are adhered to by all staff. S/he will also coordinate the sales/business development efforts of the branch.
  • The Branch manager will also lead the customer service initiatives and guides branch operational excellence. S/he will prepare and submit annual budget, work plan and activity and progress reports. The jobholder will also participate in various community activities and keep in close touch with the business community to promote services offered by the Bank.

Academic & Professional Qualification

  • Bachelor degree in a business related field e.g. accounting, management, economics, business administration

 Skill and educational background

  • Minimum of seven (7) years relevant experience out of which One (1) year in supervisory post.

  • Ability to respond to basic client enquiries and instructions and the capability of advising and resolving most issues and requests.
  • Good command of Microsoft Office package.
  • Good command of Core Banking System and other In house software’s

  • The Senior Customer Service Officer Cash/ Accounts will provide front office customer service support at the branch. S/he will handle account management transactions, respond to customer enquiries, handle cash and non-cash transactions and all customer requests at the branch.

Academic & Professional Qualification

  • Bachelor Degree in a business related field e.g. Marketing Management, Accounting, Management, Economics, Business Administration, Information Technology or any other equivalent fields
  • Knowledge of Guragegna language is advantageous

 Skill and educational background

  •  At least four (4) years of banking experience

Job Summary

The Environmental and Social Risk Specialist is responsible for ensuring the Bank’s compliance with environmental and social regulations, policies, and best practices. In addition, the role holder is responsible for assessing and managing the environmental and social risks associated with the Bank’s operations and investments. Furthermore, the specialist collaborates with various internal departments and external stakeholders to promote sustainable and responsible business practices.

Academic & Professional Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline, preferably environmental engineering, environmental or social studies; development studies / development finance; or a similar area.
  • Master’s Degree in environmental engineering, environmental or social studies; development studies / development finance; or a similar area is an added advantage.

 Skill and educational background

  • At least six (6) years’ relevant experience.

Behavioral Competency

  • Strong communication skills, including report writing (use of PowerPoint and diagrams to present information in a concise format) and oral communication.
  • Effective negotiation skills, including the ability to be persuasive as well as to listen and pragmatically identify when compromise is required.
