1:Sales Representative
Location: Addis Ababa, Adama, Asela, Bale, Diredawa, Hosana, Dilla, Mekelie, Debrebirhan, Woldiya & Nekemt
Job Summary:
A Sales Representative is responsible for collection of orders for Awash Wine products, provide POS materials and services to customers. The job holder ensures availability by taking orders, checking displays inquires issues or complaints from customers. Generates sales by communicating consumers about what the company provides and acts as a point of contact between company and consumers. He/She works with customers to identify their needs, create solutions, and ensure a smooth sales and distribution process. At the same time, he/she needs to find new sales opportunities to ensure product availability at all possible points of consumption. He/She is also responsible for the execution of all brand building activities in his/her assigned territory within the Region.
Job Duties and Responsibilties:
Serving as the first contact person of the company
Build sound customer relation ship
Servicing existing customer base through planned call schedule
Resolving customer queries and complaints within the expected timeline
Having a thorough understanding of the customer in his/her own area
Daily follow-up of Agent’s sales force and consistent review of delivery frequency per outlet
Ensure product availability in all potential outlets of his/her area
Drive daily sales volume to achieve the target
Conduct trade executions (merchandising, availability, price, POSM, must have SKUs) and initiate sales orders as per Awash standard
Receive and handle objections of outlet
Ensure product availability in all potential outlets of his/her area

Prepare and communicate all required reports in accurate and timely manner
Advise on adherence of FIFO stock movement method at outlet level
Actively participate in selecting, executing, and reporting of outlets for promotional activities to be conducted in his/her area
Support Agent to increase sell-out performances
Assist in developing route plans, ensure route, and price adherence of Agents
Check whether the outlets are properly visited as per the route plan
Ensure proper communication of Recommended Retail Prices (RRP) of the company products to outlets
Assess the market and reflect on competitor activities in the area that require counter strategy
Follow-up and report on activities that disturb the market (under/over pricing, transshipment, hoarding, etc..) in the regional area
Support in identification, collection, and replacement of defective/damaged products
Assist in proper allocation and distribution of POSM to outlets
Implementing and respecting all tasks in compliance with standards and respecting all the set parameters by the system.
Keeping records and documentations in compliance with the standards.
The job holder is responsible to follow all SOPs and safety protocols of the company while doing his/her job.
Attend monthly regular team meetings and share thoughts and ideas with colleagues.
Performs other related tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor
Skill and educational background
- Bachelor’s degree in management, marketing Sales or Related
- Experience: 2 years and above in Sales and Marketing areas
Fluency in English and local language of the working places are mandatory.
