Locatio: Addis Ababa

Experience: Fresh Graduate

Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage all accounting transactions and records
Prepare budget forecasts and financial projections
Publish financial statements in a timely manner
Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
Ensure timely bank payments and financial transactions
Compute taxes and prepare tax returns accurately
Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
Report on the association’s financial health and liquidity
Audit financial transactions and documents for accuracy
Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
Comply with financial policies and regulations

Skill and educational background

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from a recognized university
Some work experience in accounting is advantageous
Proficiency in using accounting software
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards
