1. Deputy Medical Coordinator

Location: Addis Ababa-with frequent travel to the field, Addis Ababa

Salary: ETB 149,401

Terms of employment: One Year with possibility of extension

Job Summary:

Supporting the Medical Coordinator through delegated tasks and responsibilities including defining, leading and coordinating the entire medical scope of the mission, according to MSF protocols, standards, policies and values, in order to ensure the quality of the medical care given to the targeted population and thus improving their overall health and living conditions. Fully assuming the medical coordinator’s responsibilities in case of absence.

Skill and educational background

Degree in medicine or other paramedical studies.

Desirable: Training in tropical medicine or Public Health will be an asset

Experience: 5 years’ experience in relevant jobs, in MSF or other NGO’s in developing countries. International experience is an asset. Emergency Response Coordination.

Desirable: Research and Development and Surveys

Language: Mission language essential (English ) , Amharic desirable

Knowledges:

Essential: computer literacy (word, excel and internet)
Essential: Key international and global public health issues and clinical topicsrelevant to MSF (e.g., HIV, Malaria, Cholera, Kala Azar, Snakebite)
Desirable: Operational Research and Development and conducting Surveys

2. Pharmacy Supervisor

Location: Gondar, Amhara

Salary:ETB 47,231

Terms of employment: 09 months with possibility of extension

Job Summary:

Supervising the daily logistics activities and providing maintenance to the MSF equipment, facilities and infrastructures, according to MSF standards and protocols in order to maintain the facilities in perfect conditions and collaborate in the development of the mission.

Skill and educational background

degree of pharmacy with verified professional license.
Experience: At least 4 years of experience working as a pharmacist in MOH/NGO.
Languages :Mission language and local language are essential.
Knowledge: Essential computer literacy (word, excel and internet)
