- Assess and evaluate creditworthiness of potential borrowers.
- Analyze financial data and credit reports to determine loan eligibility and risk level.
- Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Oversee the credit application process, including loan origination, underwriting, and documentation.
- Monitor loan portfolios and proactively identify any potential credit risks.
- Collaborate with members and internal stakeholders to resolve credit-related issues.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and market conditions to make informed credit decisions.
Skill and Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Accounting and Finance, Banking and Finance, Cooperative Accounting and Related Fields from a well-known University with CGPA >2.5.
- years of demonstrated work experience on credit portfolio, at least two years of them at the Manager level.
- Strong knowledge of lending principles, credit analysis, and risk assessment
- Familiarity with credit scoring models and loan origination software like Teminos T-24.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proven track record in managing credit portfolios and driving results.
2. Credit Follow Up Officer
Location: Awach SACCOS, Head Office, Addis Ababa

- A Monitor the repayment activities of all credit members.
- Follow-up with members who are falling late on their payments.
- Answer inquiries and aid on loan repayment matters.
- Negotiate and establish payment arrangements with delinquent customers.
- Maintain accurate records of all follow-up activities and outcomes.
Skill and Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Accounting and Finance, Banking and Finance, Cooperative Accounting and Related Fields from a well-known University with CGPA >2.5.
