1. Junior Researcher (Public Health)
Location: Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa
Experience: Fresh Graduate
Employment Type: Contract
Salary: Birr 10,386 (ETB ten thousand three hundred eighty six)
Duty station: Addis Ababa with frequent travel to the study sites (Shashemene Zuria Wereda, Wondo Wereda, Arsi Negelle Wereda and their rural Kebeles) and stay for months in the field.
Number required: 4 (Four)
Terms of employment: one year contract period with full time employment basis with possibility of extension based on performance and budget availability.

BSc Degree in Public Health or Health informatics fields from a recognized university.
Minimum CGPA of 3.00 for male and 2.75 for female applicants

Duty station: Addis Ababa with frequent travel to the study sites (Shashemene and surrounding Kebeles) and stay for months in the field.

skill and Educational Background
BSc Degree in Biology or Biotechnology from a recognized university with zero year work experience.
Experience in mosquito collection and rearing is an added advantage
Minimum GPA of 3.00 for male and 2.75 for female

Strong computer literacy (MS office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and internet use)

3. Assistant Researchers_ Public Health

Salary: Birr 15,767 (ETB fifteen thousand seven hundred sixty seven)
Positions available: 2 (two)
Duty station: Addis Ababa with a frequent travel to the field (study sites) and may stay for months in the field

skill and Educational Background
MPH Degree in Public Health and having BA or MA degree in Social Science fields such as Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology and related fields from a recognized university is an advantage.
At least two years proven experience as a qualitative researcher.
Experiences in qualitative study specially data collection tools, real time data capturing tools (RedCap), field data collection, data transcription, translation and manuscript write up
Experience in coordinating field work activities
Experience in project activities
Experience in qualitative data analysis Software (Nvivo, Atlasti, etc)

4. Assistant Researcher (Laboratory Logistics and Quality Management)
Location: Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa
Employment Type: Contract
Salary: Birr 15,767 (ETB fifteen thousand seven hundred sixty seven)

Term of Employment: Full time contract basis for one year with possible extension based on performance and budget availability.
skill and Educational Background
Education: A Master’s Degree in Laboratory Management and Quality assurance.
Work experience:
At least two years proven experience as a qualitative researcher.
Proven experience working in a laboratory store or logistics role within a scientific or healthcare environment.
In-depth knowledge of laboratory management practices, quality assurance protocols, and inventory control procedures.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with various stakeholders effectively.
Proficiency in using computer software applications relevant to inventory management systems.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Other Competencies:
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word and Excel
Fluency in English communication (spoken & written)
Prior experience with donor-funded projects; willingness to be multi-tasked in admin, finance, and logistics; and willingness to take up out of office tasks
5. Position: Junior Researcher (Medical Laboratory Technologist)

Education, Licenses and Certifications
BSc or MSc Degree in Medical Laboratory Science/Technology from a recognized university
Valid Professional license is required.
Training in Laboratory Quality Management System is an added advantage
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role is required
Experience working in a research institute is an added advantage.
Minimum CGPA of 3.00 for male and 2.75 for female applicants
Experience in field travel is an added advantage
Experience driving an ambulance and working with an international NGO is an added advantage
